MINNEAPOLIS (FOX 9) – One person died after a vehicle confrontation in northern Minneapolis, Minneapolis Police Department spokesman John Elder said.
Officers responded to reported gunfire and a vehicle accident in Block 2200 on Aldrich Avenue North. When the police arrived, they found one person seriously injured in the crashed vehicle. Rescue workers took him to Hennepin County Medical Center, where he later died. The police assume that he was a passenger in the vehicle.
The police also questioned another person who was in the vehicle at the time of the accident.
According to preliminary investigations, investigators believe that there were disputes in two vehicles as they drove north on Aldrich Avenue N. Once a vehicle left the street and hit a tree. The other vehicle involved continued north.
The crash is still being investigated.
